"I once read an Oscar Wilde quote that said, "A kiss may ruin a human life." It perplexed me, because up until now, I'd always thought kisses were sweet but unimportant. But this kiss? It's ruined me. This is the type of kiss I never knew existed. It's like falling and flying, all in the same moment."

After reading Ethan's and Cassie's story, it was inevitable that I’d want to read Elissa's. Liam Quinn is a global film icon and the only man Elissa Holt has ever truly loved. But that was six years ago.

After six years apart, Liam reenters her life, this time with Angel, his stunning fiancée, as they prepare to star in the Broadway production Elissa is managing. The real challenge arises when Elissa finds she can’t keep her eyes off Liam. He was the love of her life, and despite the time that has passed, the feelings haven't faded. It might have been easier if she could dislike Angel, but even Liam’s fiancée is amazing, and they soon become friends.

As rehearsals progress, Liam and Elissa grow closer, blurring the lines between their past and present. The longing and desire are still there, but there are countless reasons they shouldn't cross that line—Elissa is their stage manager, and Liam is an engaged man.

One moment of weakness threatens to spark a scandal with far-reaching consequences. And just when things seem on the verge of unraveling, Elissa learns a secret she never saw coming.

Broken hearts, foolish hearts, wicked hearts. Why did Liam have to be the love of her life? Why did she have to fall in love with an actor?

I read the first two books in this series two years ago, and at the time, I didn’t even know there was a third one. Elissa captivated me in a completely different way from how she did in this book.

I initially thought she was the cold type, but in this story, she was so consumed by love. I adored the actors' drama and everything related to the theatre, but what I loved most was the relationship between Elissa and Liam.

As I kept reading, watching the attraction and chemistry between them, I couldn’t help but wonder how things would end. And I think this was because I liked Angel too. I liked her a lot, and I never wanted her to get hurt.

But then Leisa Rayven hit us with that plot twist, and I never saw it coming. To be honest, I was hoping for a scandal in the final chapters, but the alternative was even better. I got so angry, but all these emotions just prove one thing: Leisa Rayven wrote this book very well.

I could almost feel the tension between the characters at every turn, and I was so happy with the epilogue.

In conclusion: read this series! That intense, Romeo-and-Juliet-style love is at the heart of it all, and you’ll fall for both Ethan and Liam, guaranteed!

Thank you for reading my review, and have an amazing autumn!
