''You're one of the reasons why the mortals see us as Gods and not complete monsters''

The second Lore Olympus book continues the story of Persephone, who enters Hades's heart more and more. While Apollo is still madly addicted to her, she maintains the same innocence, now being forced to work.

And where better to find a job than in the Underworld? Of course, this is all Hera's crazy idea to send her right into Hades's arms to see how it is all going to end. Persephone remains the same innocent and childish goddess, but she is truly one of the most beautiful and alluring goddesses.

Even Aphrodite is jealous of her beauty. And how could she not be? But when you combine blue and pink, you might get an explosion. While Minthe is running back into Hades's arms, he finds out the real age of Persephone.

And that is enough for him to end any relationship with her. But what can you do when the person you want to avoid is forced to be your employee? And what can you do when she looks into your eyes, begging for friendship?

All we know is this is not going to end well.

I loved this volume as much as I loved the first one, maybe even more! Persephone is still my favorite, but she is starting to be foolish, blind, and sometimes dumb. Is it legal to be that innocent at her age? Especially in a place like Olympus? Among gods?

I was angry with Hades's choice in the end, and I am annoyed that he is so formal, trying to avoid a woman like Persephone. But I am sure this will change soon!

The illustrations are amazing, so simple but amazing! I love this series! I know there is more to come, I know everything will change, and I can't wait to read the next volumes!

Still trying not to read all the chapters in one day. Wish me luck! I hope I came with a good recommendation, and I hope you will love Lore Olympus as much as I do! Thank you for reading my review, darlings!
