“Hades, all the fine suits in the world won't change the fact that you stink of death.”

Lore Olympus is this amazing Webtoon story and in this first volume we have the first 25 episodes, diving into the world of Gods by Rachel Smythe. We've got Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon, three brothers who split the world equally...well, almost equally because Hades ends up in the underworld where no one else wants to be.

Living in the dark with demons and lost souls, no wonder no one wants to be with him. And I told you about the god parties? They're wild. Hades resides in the underworld, shrouded in darkness, a place unfit for anyone else. This isolation makes it understandable why no one would want to be with him.

When Demetra allows Persefone under Artemis's wing, it marks her first attendance at a god's party, and as one would expect, these gatherings are something else.

Scandalous gossip, wild parties, and forbidden love. Lore Olympus brings the Greek Pantheon into the modern age with this sharply perceptive and romantic graphic novel.

Hera, Demetra, Artemis, Aphrodite, Zeus, Apollo – loads of legendary gods ready to make history. But is Lore Olympus anything like the old legends? Maybe, but with a bit more spice...

And the humor of this author and this story is so, so delightful!

“Mermaids are like... angles from the sea don't you think?"

"I think you should get your dick off the glass and sit your ass down.”

Oh my God, I didn't even have these books on my wishlist until this Christmas. I had no idea there were so many free episodes on Webtoon, but reading this fantastic story with amazing illustrations on the phone vs. holding a book? I will always choose the books!

Persefone is my absolute favorite, love her to bits, and I love Hades too. But Apollo? Ugh, he's the worst – evil, cruel, just awful. And I know this drama isn't ending anytime soon. My heart needs prep for what's coming. I simply fell in love with the humor, with all the jokes, with the story, with Persefone's innocence and with all those wild characters I've already met.

Right now, I'm head over heels for this blue-purpleish story, the whole beautiful world, this new tale, and our innocent goddess Persefone. The hair thing? A total crush. I'm in love with Persefone and everything about her.

Do I need to say that the fact that this is so erotic and scandalous makes it even better and you feel like you read something forbidden?

This is my first graphic novel ever and I can't wait for the rest of the books. Trying my best not to binge the rest of Webtoon episodes. Wish me luck! Seriously, give this series a shot, it is one of the most beautiful stories ever, and the illustrations? Pure gold!!!

You need to read it! Period! And thank you so much for reading my review, darlings!
