"DON'T LOOK BACK."
"Did you expect me to make it this far, Bruce?"

The lonely city has changed. It's nothing like it was ten years ago, on the worst time of Selina's life. Ten years ago, when the Fools’ Night happened to end the lives of Batman, The Joker, Nightwing, and Commissioner Gordon, Selina Kyle, AKA the Catwoman, went to prison. That night changed everything.

After all these years, after a decade, the Catwoman is back. She and the city are different. But the scars ar still there, still the same.

Now, Gotham has also changed, he is cleaner, safer but he is also a lot less free, only because he is always under the watchful eye of Mayor Harvey Dent and his Batcops. This new city is the wrong image of a memory, a memory of what once was, a memory of what Catwoman loved.

This is the new city for Selina Kyle. When she returns, she is a changed hero, a changed human being, a changed woman. After all this time, she can only think of one thing, the thing that made her go on, over every single day of the last ten years.

And the secret is this: What is hidden inside the Batcave? And who, in the name of God, is Orpheus?

,,Visionary creator Cliff Chiang (Wonder Woman, Paper Girls) writes, draws, colors, and letters the story of a world without Batman, where one woman’s wounds threaten to tear apart an entire city! It’s an unmissable artistic statement that will change the way you see Gotham’s heroes and villains forever!"

I love the Marvel and DC comics so much, but not every comic is as good as it seems to be. I wasn't so sure about the first volume of the Catwoman-Lonely City series, I didn't know what to expact, but now I know one thing: this comic is amazing. Almost as good as The Killing Joke. Maybe better!

The illustrations are amazing, they are so good and the many faces of Selina are so different and so beautiful! Cliff Chiang is amazing and he is so, so talented! I think this is a little masterpiece! A DC masterpiece!

I loved the story so much and I loved that every "book" was continued, not like a Romanian edition of Marvel comics of mine, where you read two different stories in a comic and you never find out their endings.

I am so curious of the other comics in this series and I can't wait to buy and read them! I hope they are as amazing as this one! I have never read anything about the Catwoman until now and I can say that she and Batman are better than the Marvel heroes. Don't you think the same?

I don't know if there are any comic readers here, but I recommend this with all my heart. This is my favorite comic so far! Let's see if I can find a better comic now! Until then, I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope you will give Catwoman a chance! I promise you won't regret it!
