Lore Olympus Four is, if you can believe it, even better than the first volumes because the relationship between Hades and Persephone is sparklier and more amazing than ever.
Now we have more gods to deal with, and the action is becoming purely delicious. The two gods are now the main subject of gossip in Olympus and the Underworld.
They vowed to remain friends, especially when Minthe is such a pain in the... well, you know how that ends.
We learn more about Hades’ past with Hera, but the most important thing is Apollo, who becomes increasingly insistent and constantly bursts into Persephone’s life, completely uninvited.
The return of Ares is yet another juicy topic for gossip, and his comeback to Olympus is a dark reminder of the past for our Persephone.
They wanted to take it slow, but everything between Hades and Persephone feels like a high-speed road to hell. It’s a wild descent, but how sweet is all this chaos? Because they cannot deny fate. They are made for each other, and no one can interfere with their undeniable chemistry and attraction.
But Olympus is a dark place, and they are just at the beginning of their inferno. What will happen when they finally allow love to consume them completely?
I loved this volume so much, perhaps even more than the last one. I adored the tension between Hades and Persephone, the new glimpses into their pasts, but most of all, I loved watching Hades fall so deeply in love with her.
I was furious every time I read a scene with Apollo, and I still don’t know what to think about Ares.
I devoured this volume in just a few hours because I couldn’t stop myself from finishing it in one day. I’m still trying not to read all the chapters on Webtoon because I think it feels more authentic to read the comic.
As always, I adored the illustrations. Even though I can’t wait for Persephone to have long hair again, I truly love her life story. However, I hate all the trauma she’s endured, and I can’t wait for Hades to heal her soul. These chapters are so addictive, and I want to buy the rest of the volumes immediately!
It’s such a special story because you never know what will happen next, especially since the powerful lord of the Underworld is, dare I say it, a little bit of a coward.
I expected him to already be obsessed with Persephone, and I lose my mind every time he goes back to Minthe.
One thing is certain: this is one of the best comics I’ve ever read, and I cannot wait to dive into the next chapters! Will Persephone become fiercer? I absolutely loved how she shut Apollo down this time, she really is a goddess, no doubt about it.
