''All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.''
''The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it.''
Peter Pan was the boy who never grew up. He still lives in Neverland and he lives there since forever. Peter enters our world every night, even if we don't know how or when. There is no human who doesn't heard of Peter Pan. And there is no kid who doesn't love Peter.
Along with his name, Peter Pan, we always find, the fairy Tinker Bell, the pirate Captain Hook and the three children from our world, Wendy, John, and Michael.
Their story begins one night, when the there brothers went to bed, right before Peter Pan sneaked into their house through the window. They always knew the stories about Peter Pan, but now, finding out that he is real, they fly off with Peter to Neverland without even thinking.
Full of fairy dust, they fly to the most beautiful land where they meet Indians and pirates, a crocodile, sirens and the lost boys. And if you think this is just a fairytale, wait until Peter comes to your house, to your window... Because how can we not dream about flying to Neverland with Peter? Isn't this every child's dream? Because unlike him, we grow up, but Peter will always be a kid...
What amazing story! I must be honest, I have never watched Peter Pan when I was little. Maybe just once. But I watched it now, when I am twenty two. The first and the second animation. And I loved them! And they were exactly that kind of old Disney animations that I've always loved!
The first one was a little bit strange, but now I know that the animation is exactly like the book. I was shocked to find that J. M. Barrie wrote the book in 1911. I didn't know how old this story is...
But it was beautiful, magical, it was a story dedicated both to adults and children! I loved the characters and the plot, even if sometimes it didn't make sense. It's Neverland, it doesn't have to make any sense!
I loved the fairies story, I loved to read about my beloved Tinkerbell and I loved to find out all these amazing stories are written since 1911 and Disney reproduced every single one of them! Especially respecting the details so well. Brilliant!
It's a short book, a short story, but I recommend it with my whole heart! If you love children's books, the fairytales and if you are like Peter Pan in your heart, this story is written for you! Thank you for reading my review, I hope you'll enjoy this beautiful book! Ay, ay, captain!
